gm music fans,
Sometimes it’s good to step back and see how far we’ve come. A year ago we were paying $20 in gas fees to collect a music NFT and now…
I just joined a web3 fan club with nothing but an email. I collected music in one click within a mobile social feed (via Farcaster). I got collectibles airdropped to me from creators I subscribe to on Drip (a Solana platform).
I signed a manifesto and got a cool NFT. And I wrote about music on Sound and got a cut of sales when someone collected.
Of course it’s still a bit janky but the vision of an “onchain” internet feels closer than ever and the user numbers are climbing higher.
Let’s jump straight into all the biggest stories and music drops of the week.
